Rosia Mae Kemp born On March 7, 1936 Katie and Findley Kemp in Luverne, Alabama. Rosia Mae grew up on a chicken farm until age seven. Her family moved to Cincinnati, Ohio in 1942 where she attended Our Lady of Mercy High then at an early age of 15 she graduated ahead of her peers. She then went on to Good Samaritan School of Nursing. Rosia Mae became Rosemary Lynn when she married Ronald Lynn. Being a genius, she was appointed to work at the Internal Revenue Services (IRS) for 25 years. She loved public service duties. She attended Southwestern College to learn banking systems. Rosemary aka Mo Rae aka Granny was a loving, kind spirit, loved sewing, animal planet, bowling, fashion, history, traveling, reading, puzzles, food, home improvements and crime shows. She was an asset to every place of employment she worked, neighborhood, school and extended relatives she lived near. On Tuesday December 28, 2021 Rosia Mae called home while having tea and soup with Tracy in Dekalb, Georgia. She wanted to be with family at the time of her passing. Rosia Mae “Rosemary” Lynn was preceded in death by her mother Katie Kemp, father Findley Kemp, two brothers Timothy & John Earl Kemp, Son Donald Lynn, Grandson David Lynn Jr, Son by default Allen Shannon and the love of her life Ronald Lynn. She leaves behind five children Ronald, Marietta, Robert (Sandra), David & Tracy (Jerome). Four siblings Minnie, Eloise, Jennifer and James. Twenty grandchildren Dwight, Chenicka, Marcus, Latoya, Natasha, Dominique, Shala, Ciera, Harold, Donald, Brianna, Kuimore, Tre’von, Brittany, Naila, Nate, Allontae, Cortney, Dylon, and Jeremiah. A host of great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Visitation will be held on Saturday January 15, 2022 from 9:00am - 11:00am at St. Mark A.M.E. Zion church, Cincinnati. Service will follow at 11:00am.
