Obituary of Nancy McClure

Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, Nancy W. McClure, passed from her brave battle with illness on June 8, 2014, at the age of 78. Nancy was an accomplished and well-respected teacher in the Forest Hills and New Richmond school districts, and a proud member of the Anderson Township Historical Society. Nancy played basketball and volleyball throughout her youth, taught local children how to swim, and loved her Cincinnati Reds and Bengals. Preceded in death by parents, Richard Williamson and Eloise Jean Williamson, sister, Margaret “Peggy” Laughlin. Nancy is survived by sister, Jane “BeBe” Decatur, her two sons, Brian (Stacy) and David (Melissa) McClure, grandchildren Taylor McClure and Lasca (Ivan) Lopez, great-grandchildren Andre and Isabella Lopez, nephews Tom and Bob Decatur and niece Nancy Decatur. Memorial service with reception following on Sunday, June 29, 2014, 1:30 p.m. at Heritage Universalist Unitarian Church, 2710 Newtown Road, Cincinnati, OH 45244. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to National Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org) or Hospice of Southwest Ohio (www.hswo.org).
