Dear Betty and children.
Thought so many times about your family, we have such memories of our times in Northside. It is a shame to lose contact with you, our lives get so busy, but the memories are very fresh. We will try to come to the Mass if possible. We have a 7yr. old grandson that we put on the bus a little before 9am, so, we will do our best to get there. Meantime, know that we are sad to know that Fred is gone, but, we also know he has lived a good and rich life. Love, Millie and Al. q5ffo

To the Knodle family:
Although Sue and Steve are our connection, our thoughts and prayers go out to you all during such times of loss. The times we had a chance to interact with your dad at the girls graduation functions as well the other family get togethers, your dad was nothing but pure entertainment to be around. He seemed like a man who never met a stranger, a man who honored his family, and most of all loved them as no one else could. His words were sincere and his thoughts uncensored, but always ended his conversation with a smile. Your dad will be missed, but his legacy of the importance of family will go on forever. We know the many great memories and the love he shared, will only help you all get through this time and continue to thrive in the shadows of the wings he has been granted. We will continue to keep you all in our thoughts and prayers and many thanks to having the opportunity to have spent some time with your dad.

To the Knodle Family-
Our condolences for Fred's passing. We so enjoyed his friendship and golf partnership with the "Ball Bashers" at Miami View.
Fred was an unsung hero of WWII as a medic. We appreciate his service to our country as one of the Greatest Generation.
We will miss him.
